7* NCAAF Bowl Game of the Week on Wake Forest -2.5
Wake will have its revenge from an earlier season loss in this game. QB Riley Skinner played very poorly and that is the only reason why the Deacs lost as a 17-point favorite. Odds makers may have been off with that early season line, but not by that much, and I expect Wake to win this one by double digits. The key here is that Wake Forest’s defense is not going to allow the Midshipmen to run all over them the way Navy is used to doing. It will be way more effective than it was in the first meeting. That puts the pressure on the Navy passing attack which is non-existent. The Deacs are 20-6 ATS vs. poor passing teams averaging 150 or less passing yards per game since 1992. Lay the number.
